Room 15 News & Then Some

It’s another busy week in Room 15. After doing a solid job on our classroom play performances on Friday, students will begin new plays–mostly about slavery–on Wednesday. In addition to completing a second draft of the classroom Constitution and starting our floor hockey tourney, the highlight of the week will be our field trip to the Josephine County Tree Plant at the end of Elk Road on Friday. This is the third year Room 15 students have attended this exceptionally popular trip. Students will be riding on tractors, hiking in the woods, and replanting conifer trees. The buses leave at 8:40 a.m., so be sure to be on time, Students need a sack lunch, sturdy shoes, and clothing appropriate for the weather–which could be cold and wet.
