I’ll send Zoom invites via Google Classroom on the morning of the session. I’ll also send it to parents so they know it’s going on. The plan is to have Group #1 meet at 9:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays and Group #2 meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Everyone meets on Fridays. All sessions will be recorded and posted (probably in Google Classroom) for those who missed the meeting.
Here are our rules for Zoom:
Be fully dressed! No, wearing a blanket is not being dressed.
Stay in one place. It makes everyone sick when you’re moving around.
Make sure your family knows you’re in a meeting. That way no one will do something embarrassing in the background, plus, they’ll know to be quiet.
Follow the same rules you would during an in-person discussion. Don’t shout. Be polite.
Focus on our session. Don’t be trying to do other things at the same time. Turn off your video games. Put down your cat. Save your math for later.
Keep you connection clear. Close out all your other devices so your internet connection can handle the meeting. That way we..won’t……..have anno……ying ……glitches.
If you have other ideas for Zoom rules, let me know! Thanks!
