Techies beware–a new generation of techno-babblers has been launched, and they’re after your jobs! Room 15 kids are excited about their new web pages, and already they’re demonstrating a natural proficiency we didn’t see in our classrooms ten years ago. Although the students are just getting started, you can see track their efforts by clicking on the tab in the upper right hand corner above.

In addition to the web pages, students are engrossed in lit groups, reading Matilda, Riding Freedom, Loser, or Abel’s Island. We’ll complete these projects late next week and then begin new play groups.

In writing, students last week used the Perfect Paragraph format to write movie reviews, and this week are writing letters to their favorite football teams. Meanwhile, in History students are mapping the original 13 colonies and earning a thing or two about Benjamin Franklin.
