Episode 8 (Season 4, Episode 1, Nov. 2016) — In one of my favorite episodes, Maya and Kaden show us tidepools, Captain Jack’s Stronghold, bucket Lists, and Kick the Can.

Episode 9 (Season 6, Episode 1, April 2018) — This episode really stinks: stinky food, stinki science, stinky old books, and stinkin’ tax reports! It’s hosted by Daisy R., Jocelyn S., Sylas K., and Nathan W. and it’s part of our extremely challenging Exhibition projects–eight new episodes of CPETV entirely written, directed, edited, and produced by 5th graders. Here’s the Pink Group’s show. Enjoy!

Episode 10 (Season 6, Episode 2, April 2018) — Here’s the Yellow Group’s show. In this episode Ella H., Tyson C., Victoria T., and Taylor R. show viewers the Jalapeno Challenge, our fitness program, and the Kinders performing The Littlest Christmas Tree. The also demonstrate how to make fluffy slime while explaining polymers and non-Newtonian fluids. The episode was entirely written, directed, edited, and produced by these four 5th graders.

Episode 11 (Season 6, Episode 3, April 2018) — In this episode, our team of 5th grade movie producers show us CPE’s Sewing Club and some nifty facts and hacks. They also prove that teachers are people too, and teach us how to blow up a balloon using a simple chemical reaction. Here’s Lydia T., Hannah V., Emma H., and Jacqueline B.–The Orange Group!

Episode 12 (Season 6, Episode 4, April 2018) — In this episode of CPE’s student-created television show, Trevor R., Jordan C., Braydee C., and Cellar F. take you behind the scenes of the green screen room, outside for some chemical rocket duds, and into class for a look at the DARE program. This and all the other season seven episodes of 2018 were part of the Room 15 Exhibition project.

Episode 13 (Season 6, Episode 5, April 2018) — Camron, Carl, and the two Erics keep us in stitches with their tour of CPE’s mysterious attic and their hysterical attempts to launch a Coca Cola bottle into space (which won an Exhibition “Oscar” for most comedic moment). They also explain America’s recycling crisis. Written, directed, edited, and produced entirely by 5th graders–it’s another edition of CPETV!

Episode 14 (Season 6, Episode 6, April 2018) — Emilee, Emily, Dakota, and Marissa give us a glimpse of Science & Math Night and CPE’s first ever locker contest. Episode 15 (Season 6, Episode 7, April 2018) — In this episode, our 5th grade filmmakers, Mia C., Eliza C., Hannah H., and Zoie M., teach us about chemical reactions while making elephant’s toothpaste. They also give us a glimpse at the Jo County Tree Plant and CPE’s annual floor hockey tourney.

Episode 16 (Season 6, Episode 8, April 2018) — The “Silver” episode created for Exhibition 2018. Sterling C., Angie, and Nikkie S. give us brief tours of the school and the “old brick building.” They also teach us some basic science concepts using dry ice, a piece that won an Exhibition “Oscar” for best science segment.

Episode Seventeen (Season 7, Episode 1, Jan 2019) — Hosted by Daisy R. and Jocelyn S. This episode covers our Oregon Coast Outdoor Ed Excursion from June 2018. The Coast Trip is always hectic and the kids are busy from start to finish, but our hosts, Daisy and Jocelyn, managed to write their host script on the bus as we traveled, and then we squeezed in filming the host segments whenever we had a spare ten minutes–which wasn’t often. Pretty impressive. Enjoy!
