Happy Thanksgiving! Room 15 students have a two hour early release on Wednesday, November 25th, and there is no school on Thursday or Friday. This week students will be doing a book review or literary elements summary on their independent reader, practicing for next week’s play performances, and looking at their report cards. Reports cards, along with Lava Bed field trip refunds, go home on Wednesday. Students will be performing their classroom plays after Thanksgiving. Family members are invited to Room 15 to view Sleepy Hollow at 11:00 on Friday, December 3rd (starring Tony R. as Ichabod Crane and Luke S. as Diedrich Knickerbocker), Penelope Ann Poe’s Amazing Cell Phone at 1:30 on Friday, December 3rd (starring Emma Q. as Cali and Jayda R. as Penelope), and A Christmas Carol at 1:30 on Friday, December 11th (starring J.C. J. as Cratchit and Kirsty S. as Elenora Scrooge). Here is the homework for this week: Tuesday, Nov. 24; Wednesday, Nov. 25th. Finally, don’t forget to check out the premier of Fantastic Mr. Fox in theaters beginning Wednesday.
