Room 15 Update for Jan. 27

Be sure to check out the Adopt-a-Street post (below), and take a few moments to see how the student webpages look (by clicking on the Student Portfolios tab). This is a relatively quiet week in Room 15. Angles and protractors will dominate our math class. Our Roald Dahl book clubs will get to see Veruca Salt get shelled, Bruce Bogtrotter eat cake, and the Centipede tick off the Cloudmen. In history, our glimpse of the American Revolution will include three new class plays about the Liberty Bell, the Secret Soldier, and Ben Franklin’s wild turkey. Floor hockey, DARE, and the presenting of our humane society essays round out the week. Finally, we’ll be learning about trees and forests in preparation for next week’s visit from the Tree Lady and our excursion to Josephine County for the Tree Plant. Permission slips will go home on Tuesday. Here’s the math homework for the week: Tuesday, Jan. 28; Wednesday, Jan. 29; Thursday, Jan. 30.

  1. Hey Mr. Lewis!!! Did you know I used to live in Grants Pass and Riverside park used to be my favorite park there. I also like the All Sports Park. Its the park my mom got purposed to by her ex- fiance. Well I really love this trip because I’ve been on it 3 times and I absolutely love Grants Pass. Well Bye!!! 🙂 😉 <3
