We have a couple field trips coming up. On December 16th we’ll be walking over to the Crater Performing Arts Center to watch segments from the Nutcracker ballet at about 9 a.m., and on December 18th we’ll be visiting ScienceWorks in Ashland as part of our study of the properties of matter. Permission slips will go home on Monday. This week we’ll also be working on our Elf stories, reading about the “Pilgrims” colony, and continuing our work with multi-column multiplication. Here’s the homework for this week: Monday, Dec. 8; Tuesday, Dec. 9; Wednesday, Dec. 10; Thursday, Dec. 11. Sewing Club #2 resumes on Tuesday, and we’ll celebrate 500 Club on Wednesday (scroll down to see who is attending).
