Recognizing Madelyn from her baby picture may have been easy for some of you, but do you know this little guy? And is that a Goofy hat he’s wearing? To find out who it is, be sure to join us at the Year-end Awards Assembly at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 9th! It’s our send-off to all the graduating 5th graders.

This week we’re wrapping up our final Book Club, practicing our long division skills, posting our Endangered Species Project, and finishing up our Survey of History with Civil Rights and Space Flight. There is also a variety of special events, including the following:

Tuesday, May 31st, 2:30 p.m. — Adopt-a-Street Hopkins Road clean-up (for those that signed up)
Wednesday, June 1st, 8:00 p.m. — Crater High School Graduation
Friday, June 3rd, 11:30 a.m. — Hanley Farms field trip
Monday, June 6th, 11:00 a.m. — Don Jones Water Park Picnic
Wednesday, June 8th — Roadrunner Day
Thursday, June 9th — Awards Assembly and Baby Picture Program, 8:30 a.m. (and last day of school; two hour early release)
