Thank you to everyone for attending parent-teacher conferences. Even though we don’t formally meet again this year, know that anytime you feel it necessary to discuss your child’s progress, all you need to do is call or stop in and we’ll set something up.

In class this week we’ll be starting new Book Clubs, tackling a new vocabulary list, creating our cafeteria elves, working on our webpages, and much more. We’re also starting new plays, one of which (A Christmas Carol) we’ll be trying to shoot like a television movie. Stay tuned for more information. In math we’ll be beginning a lengthy unit on measurement and geometry that will culminate sometime in January with the kids calculating the surface area of three-dimensional figures.
